May 9, 2024 Dayne’s will conduct spring clean up. This is for residential customers only and appliances are limited to 2 (two) per household.
Bulky items include:
- Furniture
- Other sizable waste materials
- Refrigerators, ice makers, freezers, and window air conditioners if a certificate from a technician certifying removal of freon from the appliance is provided
- Stoves
- Washing machines
- Water tanks
Items not picked up:
- Construction debris
- Dead animals
- Hazardous waste
- Stable matter with great weights or volumes
Unacceptable Waste
- Any type of special wastes without analysis and approval (asbestos, etc.)
- Any types of pesticides, poisons, cleaners, or flammable liquids
- Car and truck tires
- Explosives
- Hazardous wastes / PCB wastes
- Infectious wastes
- Lead acid car batteries
- Medical wastes
- Paints (oil based, enamel based, or lead based) latex or water based paints are accepted if containers are opened and dried solid
- Raw sewage
- Waste oils (motor, hydraulic, etc.)
- Yard wastes (tree limbs, leaves, grass clippings, brush, etc.)
Everything must be bundled, bagged, or boxed and no longer than 4 ft in length. Items must be curbside by 3:00 A.M. If it is put out later and Dayne’s has to go back for the items you will be charged a fee.
