Amber Snyder (Patron) addressed the board on some dogs coming to her home
and getting into the Chicken Coop. One of the dogs took one of the chickens and
put a hole in its side. She took the chicken to the vet, and it cost her $100. Now
she has stated that the dogs are still clawing at the coop to get in. One of her
chickens had died a few hours later due to having she guesses a heart attack.
Tom Ellis then asked her if we proceeded to give the owners of the dogs a ticket.
Would she also be happy if they paid the vet bill? She was okay with that. Amber
was also asking if she could shoot the dog if it came back and attacked again. Tom
is looking into this and will get back with us.
Kevin Charleton (Patron) is wanting to get a permit for rabbits. He was wondering
about the number of rabbits that he could have with this permit. There is no set
amount, just make sure you can keep up with however many you get and don’t
let it get out of hand.
Gerald Davis / Motioned Jeremy Fendrick / 2nd the Motion Ayes 3-0
Scott Ferris (Patron) is interested in purchasing the ditch digger if it is for sale.
Everyone agreed on $1500 which Scott stated that he would only give $500. Tom
Ellis is going to check on this and see if we can sell Ditch Digger online.
Joy Evans was wondering about putting the cover on the pavilion for May 13th all
town yard sale. This would be just in case the weather got bad. Karen Fendrick
will be doing a raffle at the pavilion since she would not be able to have it at the

Darrin Welch (Patron) has a complaint about dogs running around in yard of Kevin
Sealy along with a lot of lawn mowers that are not running and Kevin Sealy’s yard
is full of a lot of junk. There is also a large pile of wood near the road.
Darrin Welch also had a complaint about the neighbor that lives behind him that
has ducks and roosters that are keeping him up at night. Darrin at one time was
going to sale his house but after the people saw how the neighbors had junk and
wood all over the place they decided not to buy. Darrin is wondering if the City of
Laddonia will ever do anything about this issue.
Tiffany Tice, (Patron) was wondering about her sewer bill since she has had issues
with her sewer and they have not been using the sewer. Joy Evans stated that the
bill is from November. She then addressed what we were going to do about the
sewer issue. Tresa Hodges said that we can get a bid from this gentleman
(Andrew Gaw) He can be reached at 573-822-0522. Carrie Risenhoover will be
contacting him to get that bid. Tiffany was relieved that we are going to be fixing
her sewer problem.

Lori Patterson- Code Enforcer Lori has not been getting paid for this position in
fact she was going to be off for the winter months and come back in the spring.
This position was brought up by Eddy Craft that he would volunteer to do this job
with out any more pay. This will be discussed further at our next meeting.
Jeremy Fendrick wants to see about purchasing the lot across from his residence.
This is a two-story house that has been abandoned and there are racoons that
live there, not to mention probably some other animals. Travis Lybarger had
looked up the address for a contact and that would be 6458 Haven Way, Clinton
WA 98236. Tom will investigate this to see what it is that we can do.
Kevin Charleton (Patron) has brought up the basketball court on where we are on
this. He has a gentleman that is wanting to give us a bid on this. Also there is a
tree that needs to be removed before anything can happen.
City Park Bathroom- Eddy and Chuck have been working on getting everything
ready with the bathroom. There has been a new toilet and sink put in along with
a new hand dryer. He was wondering how long we should keep the restroom
open and when we need to lock it up for the night. The board agreed on 7am to
8pm. This would give any of the residents a place to go if they are playing or
having any activities at the City Park.
Gerald Davis/ Motion Jeremy Fendrick / 2nd Motion Ayes 3-0
Ameren UE light pole- There has been a contract that was drawn up for us for
getting the plug in back on the poles for our Christmas Decorations. Tresa Hodges
signed the contract so we can send off on this again since the time frame expired.
Jeremy Fendrick on the Athletic Associates wants to see where the boundaries
are that connect to Mike Williams property. Mike Williams, which is a neighbor,
has been complaining about where his property is and where the ballpark
boundaries are. This will need to be investigated.
Eddy Craft will be working on the leak that is in front of Shamblin’s house.
Eddy Craft just found out through KUDA’s that it is going to cost more than we
had budgeted for the truck to be fixed. The board discussed using the dump truck
if need be.
Eddy Craft was wanting to do a 4th of July float for this year. He was wanting to get
with Amanda Fischer on seeing if she would help out on getting it ready for us.
Eddy would like to have all of City board members ride on the float.
